Seagreen Wind Farm EIA

Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy development in the North Sea that is currently in the planning process and could add up to 1.5GW to Scotland’s renewable energy capacity.

In 2018, we worked with Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm to prepare the socio-economic assessment as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment. This assessment considered the worst case scenario of the lowest likely level of economic impact. This found that even in this worst case scenario, the development would contribute over £1 billion to the Scottish economy.
