Sara Cubilla
Sara is an Economist at BiGGAR Economics, where she specialises in economic impact assessment and quantitative analysis. Since joining the firm in 2022, she has worked on a wide range of studies, from assessing the impact of individual projects and organisations to evaluating the economic contribution of key sectors such as solar and battery storage in the UK and the alcohol industry in Scotland. She also has experience in scenario analysis, helping clients understand the potential effects of different policy or market developments.
Before joining BiGGAR Economics, Sara worked in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting at PwC and a regional consultancy in Montevideo, contributing to research on economic trends across Latin America.
Sara holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh. She has a strong track record of combining quantitative methods with real-world data to develop evidence-based insights and compelling narratives that inform strategic decision-making.
