BiGGAR Economics is delighted to announce that Simon Cleary has been appointed as Economics Director. Simon’s appointment to the management team recognises his crucial role delivering high quality analysis for clients and developing the expertise and economic capability of the team.
In particular, Simon will have responsibility for:
Announcing the appointment, Graeme Blackett, Managing Director, said: “Simon has played a huge role in the success of BiGGAR Economics in recent years and I am delighted that his role has been recognised by this appointment. I look forward to working with him and our colleagues to deliver meaningful impact.”
Simon has worked for BiGGAR Economics for eight years and has made a major contribution to methodology development in this time, including the development of the approach to assessing the economic impact of universities (including multinational analysis for the the League of European Research Universities) and modelling the supply chain and broader economic impacts of the renewable energy sector.
Simon has worked for BiGGAR Economics for 8 years and has lead some of the more methodologically challenging tasks in this time, including the multinational analysis for the economic impact of the League of European Research Universities (LERU) and the design of the economic modelling to for the University of Edinburgh.
