Aimilia Manolakelli
Aimilia joined BiGGAR Economics in 2023 after completing an MSc in Economics at the University of Edinburgh, having a strong background in applied economic theory, quantitative methods, and policy evaluation, alongside advanced programming skills for complex data analysis.
As an Economist at BiGGAR Economics, Aimilia specialises in delivering economic and community impact assessments and quantitative modelling for project-specific and sector-wide evaluations. Her experience spans a range of industries, including renewable energy, tourism, advertising, advanced manufacturing, life sciences and health, as well as place-based and infrastructure projects supporting local authority initiatives. She has also recently developed deep expertise in the Data Centre sector and other AI and data-related projects.
Aimilia is particularly interested in producing rigorous analysis to support informed decision-making in diverse policy and commercial contexts, while also considering broader societal outcomes.
