Duncan Hamilton Blackett

Duncan is one of our experienced economists, bringing robust economic modelling and quantitative analysis to the forefront of energy transition and infrastructure projects.

His experience spans energy generation developments – including offshore and onshore wind farms, carbon capture and storage – as well as the associated transmission infrastructure. He is experienced in managing projects and producing comprehensive economic impact assessments, including socio-economic, tourism, and recreation reports for Environmental Impact Assessments.

A key focus for Duncan is maximising the economic and social benefits of the energy transition and supporting infrastructure through supply chain development, job creation, and investment in skills. Duncan leads and contributes to projects that articulate the economic value of major energy sector developments that will drive economic growth.
